Receiving GCRF funding from AHRC, this project has helped with capacity building for the use of digital documentation in Jordan. The team have provided training in the use of digital documentation and ongoing support to staff from the Jordan National Museum and heritage organisations from within the region. There is an appreciation of the potential that 3D digital imaging and visualisation can bring towards education, interpretation and promotion of the Museum’s most treasured archaeological collections and the contextual linkage that this can bring to archaeological sites and other cultural heritage assets.
